The Haiti Early Learning Project (H.E.L.P.) depends on the support of volunteers to implement our strategic plan to raise funds, increase awareness, and provide educational opportunities for children in Haiti.

H.E.L.P. Volunteer Positions

Committee member volunteers do not need to be board members to participate on H.E.L.P. committees chaired by a current board member.
Finance
Oversees development of the budget; ensures accurate tracking/monitoring/accountability for funds; ensures adequate financial controls; often led by the board treasurer.
PR/Marketing
The marketing committee develops the marketing strategy used to promote our organization's mission, finding potential patrons, developing a marketing strategy to keep existing patrons connected with the organization's mission. The PR/Marketing committee  develops strategies on how to communicate  H.E.L.P.’s message to potential donors.
Fundraising
Oversees development and implementation of the fundraising plan; identifies and solicits funds from external sources of support.
Events
Plans and coordinates major events such as our annual Gift of Education Holiday Gala.
Education Projects
Member responsibilities include sharing awareness about students in Haiti and their academic challenges, support the academic growth and future educational goals of all students and implement the educational goals set forth by the H.E.L.P.
Service Projects

Through a Speakers Bureau and H.E.L.P. chats develop partnerships and financial support speaking on behalf of H.E.L.P. and our strategic  education goals and fundraising efforts.
